The writer, Yves Pflieger, is a computer programmer. He is a graduate software engineer from the Federal Polytechnic School in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since 1995 Yves Pflieger has been programming independently. He has published several programs in French, English, Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch in the fields of Numerology, the Tarot, the I Ching, and the study of First Names.

Creations

His first computer program called "Le Secret des Nombres" was released in 1995 by Sybex, Paris. Four newer versions followed until 1998. He also wrote programs for the Tarot, the Chinese I Ching and First Names. All of these were released by Sybex for France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. Subsequently, he was asked by foreign publishers to create a version of "Numerology Pro". This was released in Rio de Janeiro for Brazil and Portugal. Three versions in Dutch "Easy Tarot, the Art of Prediction" were distributed commercially in the Netherlands; and an English version of "New Age Tarot Cards" was released in Sydney for Australia.
